Providing additional support for your sponsored child or the child's family

Many of the families who are being supported by ChEd Nepal and the Mitrata Organization are experiencing severe economic hardship and would benefit greatly from further financial assistance. However, providing further support to a single family or child in our community may cause issues among other families or girls at Mitrata, so we do not encourage you to do this.

 

It is more appropriate to bring small gifts which can be shared by all of the children, such as books, items of clothing or sporting equipment. If you wish to make a donation for a specific project or to help in some other way, you can do so by donating through our overseas partner, ChEd Nepal. This organisation will not use any of your funds for their own administration and will deliver every cent of your donation to us at Mitrata. 

 

Once you have received details about your sponsored child you can discuss this issue with the ChEd Nepal Child Education Sponsorship Coordinator.
