Mitrata Organization
visiting your sponsored child
Your visit to Mitrata
Your sponsored child would be absolutely delighted to welcome you to Nepal and to meeting you face to face. Interacting in person will certainly further strengthen the friendship bond you've formed. Meeting your sponsored child can be one of the most rewarding experiences that you and your sponsored child can have.

Of course, your visit will also give you the opportunity to see your sponsorship contributions in action. You'll be able to visit your child's community and meet members of our organisation.

Please plan your visit early
All child sponsors are required to complete a number of documents prior to their visit. The forms must be completed at least three months before you intend to visit your sponsored child.

Please be aware that the visit to your child is limited to regular business days and hours and that a member of our organisation will accompany you at all times.

Volunteering

While you are at Mitrata, you may wish to participate in some of our projects as a volunteer. If so, please visit our volunteer page which will give some ideas about the kind of work you can do and also provides you with some information about the conditions at Mitrata if you choose to stay.
